I ended up at the Sidi Bouzid vocational training center by chance, having left the conventional school system. I wanted to give it a try to avoid being left without a job or training.

As a result, I obtained a professional technician's diploma in agri-food and I'd like to become a quality controller one day because it's a job that's very much in demand.

I'd already taken part in a prior event similar to this job fair*, but I hadn't managed to find a job. This time, before taking part in this event, we received assistance in creating our curriculum vitae, which enabled me to better present my skills and training during the interviews scheduled with the participating companies and maximize my chances of finding a job."

*The "Kasserine & Sidi Bouzid JOB Fair" is the fruit of collaboration between the Tunisian agency for vocational training (ATFP), private sector companies, and USAID Tunisia JOBS.

The event provided 351 young people with an opportunity to interview with 42 recruiting companies.
