F4T (Filtration Tissus Techniques et Toiles de Tamisage) is a family-owned company offering industrial filtration solutions for a wide range of industries. The founder, Mr Mohamed Makni, spent years in the flour milling and pasta production business, working for major local producers. He noticed that filtration devices (and parts) were all imported at high cost from Europe and Asia. He decided to seize the opportunity and began production 1997 with 2,000 TND in working capital. By the early 2000’s, the company had gone from a small startup to a well-structured SME, able to compete with global players – at least in the local market.
